Hillary Clinton spoke today to African American and Hispanic journalists and took a few questions. The Democrat nominee was unwilling to let go of lies she’s repeatedly told about her emails:
Hillary Clinton maintains: 'I never sent or received anything that was marked classified' https://t.co/tPcowFOaWL

Asked about 4-Pinocchios statement on FBI Director Comey and her emails, Hillary says she may have "short-circuited" https://t.co/bEd9iHERGR

Yep, “short circuited.” That’s how Clinton explains the lies she was caught telling:

Others noticed that Hillary’s remarks were occasionally interrupted by applause from the room full of “journalists”:

Seriously, reporters should not be applauding @HillaryClinton's answers. This is supposed to be a news conference, of sorts.

If the people asking the questions are clapping for you, no Hillary, it doesn't count as a "press conference."

Hillary: Comey said I was totally honest.
Media: Nope.
Hillary: No, really, he did.
Media: Nope.
Hillary: I promise.
Media: We believe you.— Ben Shapiro (@benshapiro) August 5, 2016
Not everybody there was a “journalist” — some were just Hillary fans — but it can be hard to tell the difference:
Just learned the #NABJNAHJ16 audience for #HillaryClinton includes non-journalists with "I'm With Her" signs
Do not assume they're media.— Rochelle Riley (@rochelleriley) August 5, 2016
It’s actually very easy to assume somebody with an “I’m With Her” sign are national media. That’s the whole problem.
