'It's true'! NYT op-ed hails Obama's comedic talent ahead of #WHCD (and many agree)

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is tonight, and the president is ready!

While the DC media gears up for a squee-tastic evening of fawning over Obama’s final #WHCD, New York Times is running an op-ed by a former Obama speechwriter lauding the president’s natural talent:

President Obama is a natural comedian, and his administration knows it https://t.co/Eu91oHB0Xf via @NYTOpinion pic.twitter.com/6VgnV8chDO

If you like your “natural comedian,” you can keep your “natural comedian”!

In the spirit of bipartisanship, many were in total agreement, though maybe not for the reasons outlined in the op-ed:

It's true. Putin laughs at him all the time. https://t.co/QbM7Y5CZRI
