Bernie Sanders is participating in a conference on economic and social issues at the Vatican tomorrow. Sanders reportedly will not see Pope Francis while in Rome, but CNN went all out in an attempt to show their similarities:

CNN notes that aside from abortion and same-sex marriage, “on economic and environmental issues at least, the Catholic prelate and secular Jewish senator sometimes sound like long, lost soulmates.”
