Rob Lowe catches heat for comments about Cam Newton's post #SB50 press conference

After Carolina’s loss in last night’s Super Bowl, Panters quarterback Cam Newton gave a terse post-game press conference before walking out:

That caught Rob Lowe’s eye, who commented:

Steven Crowder noticed that Lowe angered many who accused him of hypocrisy and other things:

The “rapist” tweets stem from this incident in the 80s. He had consensual sex with someone who lied about their age. Actually, two someones, but her friend was 23. Far be it from me to deem that morally acceptable, but come on. This was a famous 80’s teen star getting down with groupies, not a perverted child molestor. Let’s get real.
