Earlier today, President Obama announced that his administration was officially rejecting construction of the Keystone XL pipeline in the U.S. Among the reasons Obama offered was that the pipeline would contribute to climate change.
Fox News’ Brit Hume points out that the decision not to build it will also have an environmental impact:
