Actress Mara Wilson, who some might remember best as Matilda or Natalie Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire, isn’t happy with Speaker John Boehner being among those seeking to end public funding to Planned Parenthood in the wake of horrific videos from the Center for Medical Progress.
Wilson pointed out last month that she once went to a PP clinic for treatment:
Tempted to call up those voting to defund Planned Parenthood and tell them, in detail, about the time I went there for a yeast infection.

Wilson picked up on that today:
.@SpeakerBoehner Do you ever want to eat yogurt or cottage cheese again, bro? #IStandWithPP

I am THIS close to copying and pasting the whole Wikipedia article on yeast infections and tweeting it at @SpeakerBoehner

NBD, just letting @SpeakerBoehner know what Mayo Clinic says about yeast infections

Wilson sent Boehner several tweets describing yeast infections in great detail, but it was probably preferable to talking about what this debate is really about.

@AmyOtto8 Wtf is wrong with you, @MaraWritesStuff? You know that yeast infection medications are OTC now, right? No need for PP involvement.

Republicans have been pointing out that H.R. 3134, the Defunding Planned Parenthood Act of 2015, would “redirect funds allotted for the organization to go to other health centers to provide services for women.”
