Actress Mara Wilson defends Planned Parenthood by telling John Boehner all about yeast infections

Actress Mara Wilson, who some might remember best as Matilda or Natalie Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire, isn’t happy with Speaker John Boehner being among those seeking to end public funding to Planned Parenthood in the wake of horrific videos from the Center for Medical Progress.

Wilson sent Boehner several tweets describing yeast infections in great detail, but it was probably preferable to talking about what this debate is really about.

Republicans have been pointing out that H.R. 3134, the Defunding Planned Parenthood Act of 2015, would “redirect funds allotted for the organization to go to other health centers to provide services for women.”
