Yesterday, PBS’s Gwen Ifill caused quite a commotion with a “take that, Bibi” comment about a tweet from @TheIranDeal.
Hilary Rosen came to Ifill’s defense after the ensuing backlash:
This "Jew" knows @GwenIfill is the furthest thing possible from an anti-semite.She's a stellar journalist. Twitter can be moronic sometimes.
— Hilary Rosen (@hilaryr) September 3, 2015
“Twitter” is moronic?

Sure looks like it!
It doesn't have to be anti-Semitic to be really dumb on her part. Red herring. https://t.co/Sy67PRBoAj

Also, what's with the quotation marks around Jew? https://t.co/Sy67PRBoAj

Speaking of that, Rosen can take it up with somebody closer to Ifill:
BOOM ===> PBS Ombudsman shoots @gwenifill in the head over her insane Bibi tweet: http://t.co/yDGGC2jqHK
— John Schindler (@20committee) September 3, 2015
The PBS Ombudsman Michael Getler called Ifill’s tweet “inexcusable for an experienced journalist.”
@20committee whoa- have come to expect milquetoast responses from ombudsman in general, so that was pretty brutal
