'Tell me more about how thin your skin is': Cosmo's Jill Filipovic has had enough of 'harassment tool' Twitchy

It was a tough decision! OK, maybe not.

You're going to get Twitchied for this, you know. @JillFilipovic

It would be delicious if @TwitchyTeam covers the reaction to @JillFilipovic’s article about it.

— Brandon Morse (@TheBrandonMorse) August 20, 2015

Cosmopolitan political writer Jill Filopovic published a piece alleging Twitchy is a major threat to the left-wing narrative harassment tool intended to silence the Left:

https://twitter.com/JillFilipovic/status/634100913800671232

Twitchy is such a tool for silencing anti-conservative dissent that we’ve published plenty of stories featuring the tweets of Filipovic and many others. As a matter of fact, putting what’s being discussed on the Left into full view is one of the reasons Twitchy was founded. We don’t want to silence the Left — we want them to keep talking!

Filipovic was thanked for her article by Sally Kohn, among others:

God bless ya, @JillFilipovic — a must read!!

* waves at @michellemalkin & @TwitchyTeam * https://t.co/bX1GswLqqc

We appreciate all of our readers, many who are tweeters we feature from time to time, and some of them helped point out a few things:

Well there’s that.

.@JillFilipovic How rotten that there's a site targeting you by quoting your tweets. Count this as harassment. @TwitchyTeam

— Anthony Bialy (@AnthonyBialy) August 20, 2015

Cosmopolitan has come out swinging at @TwitchyTeam. Hey, Cosmo, just because you disagree with it doesn't mean it's bullying! #tolerance

— Angela Morabito (@AngelaLMorabito) August 20, 2015

Twitchy is a tool that takes away narrative control. They despise that you can talk back.

— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) August 20, 2015

Is someone seriously bitching about @TwitchyTeam? Because none of us have EVER been harassed by liberal trolls… without writing articles

If @JillFilipovic had to trade email & social media accounts with @DLoesch or @michellemalkin for 1 day, she'd go catatonic.

Suggestion: if you're really scared about being featured on Twitchy, perhaps this world is too harsh for one as delicate as you.

For the record, @TwitchyTeam is one of my favorite websites of all time and the ladies who run it, @michellemalkin & snarkandboobs, are fab

— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) August 20, 2015

While we’re on the subject of flashbacks, here’s a tweet from a story we published last month which features Filipovic, who has falsely alleged that Twitchy exists to whip up a mob mentality:

https://twitter.com/JillFilipovic/status/626032412695375872

Move along, nothing to see here.

But we must be honest and credit Filipovic for starting something that could be all the rage:
