Who's up for a 'sense of urgency' lecture from President Fundraiser McPutt-Putt?

President Obama said he’s not giving up on gun control, and “it is not good enough simply to show sympathy”:

Showing sympathy for gun victims not enough, @BarackObama says http://t.co/WEA43ZCLvI | Getty pic.twitter.com/O2fWCA3E7s

While in California, Obama also said that America “has to feel a sense of urgency” on the gun issue. Obama had an interesting way of proving that point:

Showing sympathy isn't giving a two minute statement then flying to Hollywood for two millionaire fundraisershttps://t.co/d1Zv8nXRev

As he also demonstrates every time he fires up Air Force One to go somewhere to warn people about the dangers of airplane emissions, “leading by example” isn’t one of Obama’s strong suits.

No you have to golf palm springs &hold $30k per plate fundraisers w/hedgefunders &celebs https://t.co/BgIrCMg7qi

Don’t worry, Obama’s got that covered on this trip as well:

Los Angeles to pick up some checks, then off to Palm Springs for some golf. Whew! So much work. #Obama https://t.co/EPsp0N7prf

After two days, a speech, an interview (in a garage) and four Dem fundraisers, Pres Obama heads to Palm Springs tomorrow for some golf.

At least he’s predictable.
