President Obama said he’s not giving up on gun control, and “it is not good enough simply to show sympathy”:

While in California, Obama also said that America “has to feel a sense of urgency” on the gun issue. Obama had an interesting way of proving that point:

As he also demonstrates every time he fires up Air Force One to go somewhere to warn people about the dangers of airplane emissions, “leading by example” isn’t one of Obama’s strong suits.
