'A bit late for that’: State Department finds Hillary's handling of email was 'not acceptable'

On Monday we reported that the State Department found there to be no evidence the Hillary Clinton’s decisions were swayed by donations to the Clinton Foundation during her time as secretary of state.

However, today a department official criticized her use of a private email server:

So they’re convinced Hillary wasn’t swayed but then acknowledged she was doing improper things they didn’t know about which were later deleted?

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email account run through a private server was “not acceptable” and happened without officials’ knowledge, a top State Department record-keeper said on Wednesday.

“I think the message is loud and clear that that is not acceptable,” Joyce Barr, the State Department’s assistant secretary for the Bureau of Administration, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
