As we reported earlier, a longtime friend and political ally of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is expected to plead guilty today to an as of yet unspecified charge for his role in the Bridgegate scandal.

In news reports, many apparently mistook the words “Christie ally” for the name of an actress. Suddenly “Kirstie Alley” was trending this morning:
