The mayor of Baltimore might have backpedaled on using the term “thugs” to describe looters and arsonists rioting in Baltimore, but so far the White House isn’t walking back President Obama’s recent comment:

On Baltimore, @PressSec says Pres Obama stands by his use of the word "thugs" to describe some of the rioters there.
