Why no firings at Rolling Stone? ThinkProgress' editor finds historical precedent (Hint: But Bush!)

Rolling Stone has retracted their UVA rape story, and fro the time being anyway, Rolling Stone’s management won’t fire anybody over the debacle. Why not? There appears to be historical precedent:
