Isn’t it though?
Last year, the Obama administration released five detainees from Gitmo in return for Bowe Bergdahl. After the five were let go, Obama said that Qatar would keep an eye on them. How’s that going so far?

Simply maddening.
This is shaping up to be a big political mess, esp if Bergdahl ends up being charged w desertion.

Releasing these terrorists & allowing them 2 return 2 the battlefield is aiding & abetting the enemy. Is that not treason? #Taliban #GITMO

The White House might spin it this way:

"Wait, wait. The guy traded for Bergdahl went back to 'armed militancy,' not 'terrorism.'" — Josh Earnest, probably.

It's a good thing the Taliban aren't terrorists, otherwise this might be bad. http://t.co/gCocRjNq6c

Sad but true.
And let’s not forget that Obama released even more Gitmo detainees after letting the five go in exchange for Bergdahl.
