'Hoping to land a late night gig’: Obama to appear on Colbert Report

Excited to not watch. RT @wjcarter: Colbert will interview Obama Mon. The fake character going out big.

Stephen Colbert will move from Comedy Central to CBS to take over for David Letterman next year, but first he’ll interview President Obama:

Maybe Obama could take over for Colbert:

@greta He's hoping to land a late night gig himself in a couple of years…

The venue will be a nice fit:

@greta he's trying to hit his target audience, news shows aren't his audience, comedian viewership is his audience!

@greta Because preaching to the choir is always so much easier 🙂

@greta Obama knows what audience he fits in best. His legacy as a President is a joke. So the best fit for him is at Comedy Central.

@greta it makes sense Greta, a clown doing a comedy show.

A news anchor parody meets a presidential one. “@MotherJones: YES. President Obama to appear on "The Colbert Report""

— 4th-Party Pol (@PointlessPol) December 5, 2014

@greta Well, it is on @ComedyCentral and obama is a comedian
