Military veteran Montel Williams delivered an impassioned opening statement at a House hearing today about Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, the U.S. Marine being held in Mexico.
Williams later challenged President Obama to “make the call today” to the president of Mexico to arrange Tahmooressi’s release. If Obama wouldn’t call the president of Mexico, Williams said he should call Tahmooressi’s mother, who was sitting next to Williams at the hearing:
