Attorney General Eric Holder went to Ferguson, Mo. today where he met with law enforcement officials as well as the family of Michael Brown. Holder is reported to have said he hopes to have a “calming influence” on the situation:

Holder said he’ll lead an investigation that’s “fair and thorough,” not to mention a bit unorthodox:
