'Brilliant': Melissa Harris-Perry's suggested callous Dem response to canceled plans wins bipartisan support

On her MSNBC show Sunday, Melissa Harris-Perry suggested that Democrats get a little more unapologetic about the consequences of Obamacare, one of which was millions of canceled insurance plans in spite of President Obama’s “you can keep it if you like it” Lie of the Year.

Harris-Perry suggested that Dems should tell the millions who were lied to and forced to shop for different health plans, in many cases being forced to spend more money, to “just deal with it”:

What? Yes, that’s what she suggested:

Partial transcript of Harris-Perry via Newsbusters:

You know — Democrats. You know, the same party that passed and defended and implemented the most sweeping social policy in decades, who can say that millions of people now have affordable health insurance that they didn’t have before. And they’re not even owning it. No confidence, no swagger. No, “Yeah, you can’t keep your crappy plans. Just deal with that!”

From “it’s going to be the best thing ever” to “just deal with it”? Perfect:

Winning strategy for the Dems?

Don’t expect too many Dems up for election or re-election this year to embrace that suggestion, but many Republicans probably hope they do.
