Our Rose of Sharon caught entire glass from window. Unbroken. Neighbor just brought over. Glass inside from mirror, other. #littleblessings

The storm has left what sounds like an electrical hazard in its wake:

Downed wires and neighbor’s MASSIVE tree balanced oh so precariously on our destroyed garage; it ripped out multiple power lines.

Loving Ameren UE right now. Best response I’ve seen. Our neighborhood so hard hit. Our yard super dangerous right now.

Good news:

I think our garage needs to be rebuilt, but we’re ok and our neighbors are ok.

Also glad for God’s protection and blessings for us and our community. No one hurt. Winds clocked in at 40/45 mph said one worker.

This nasty storm did not damage Loesch’s sense of humor:

Im glad we don’t have Obamacare house insurance.

Ha! Absolutely.
