Rep. Jim McDermott voted to pass Obamacare in 2010, the law which forced insurance companies to discontinue certain kinds of policies which left millions of Americans with cancellation notices in spite of the president’s promise. Today, McDermott said that Rep. Fred Upton’s bill that would allow insurance companies to continue to sell certain plans is tantamount to “socialism.”
