NFL promo features Condi Rice; Blitz of Twitter hate ensues

Prediction of the week!

Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of State under President George W. Bush and current professor of Political Economy in the Graduate School of Business at Stanford, was featured in a promotion during NFL action on Sunday:

@CondoleezzaRice great commercial! http://t.co/3mjBE3j5m2. It's great to have such a stand up guy at QB here in Indy!

— Jess Breeden (@jubbuj123) September 29, 2013

Some predictable reaction ensued, much of it no doubt from the “new tone” crowd:

If Fox shows that commercial one more time of Condoleezza Rice I'm going to boycott football. Ugly ass rat realrap

Condi Rice, someone who deserves to be told to go fuck herself more. Lotta blood on her hands and she's talking about football.

Ads about Condi Rice loving football make me like football less. #FuckGeorgeBush

Confirmed: The “Bush Derangement Syndrome” is alive and well.

Editor’s note: A typo in Condoleezza Rice’s name has been corrected. Twitchy apologizes for the error.
