The White House released a five-page transcript of President Trump’s call with Ukraine’s president, and some in the media are already helping the Dems come up with some talking points. The White House said the transcript is the full, unredacted conversation. Cue journalists:
The biggest clue that the Ukraine conversation has been condensed is on the first page: It's a 30 min convo that's been conveyed in just five pages. pic.twitter.com/Ge2WDMJzEv

And as many have pointed out, the White House uses ellipses when Trump is making his ask. What did they cut out? https://t.co/cUpojuyOhG

Memorandum of Phone Conversation: call was 9:03 – 9:33
Estimated time it would take to say all of the words released in the memo: 11 minutes.
Checked by the great @mike_melia in our broadcast software (time of spoken words matters a lot on TV) from @NewsHour

THERE it is:

If anybody in the anti-Trump Resistance needs some extra tinfoil for the hats, the MSM has plenty to pass around.
IT WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH lol https://t.co/oqeGC4MScv

That’s become abundantly clear.
This is dumb. The memorandum does not contain the interpreters' exchanges and any lead-in by staff, which would have necessarily extended the time for the call.
Or you could go all conspiracy theory like PBS here. https://t.co/6JCVYArReo

Does Zelenskyy speak English? Because if not, translations would have take up a lot of time. https://t.co/1YuancJg2O

Eventually maybe all these reporters will get around to finding out why after speculating out loud.
UKRAINE CALL TIMING more: Translation absolutely could account for some of this. Though I’m not sure all.
We are trying to find out if it was sumultaneous translation or not.

For some reason the saying “shoot first, ask questions later” comes to mind when it comes to “journalism” in the Trump era.
But let's spin this in the worst way possible…

FFS: just put on the tinfoil hat, already.
