'Pause to consider...': Erielle Davidson's thread on how anti-Semitic cartoon 'made it past several editors' at the NYT is a must-read

As we told you earlier today, the New York Times’ PR department went into spin overdrive after an anti-Semetic cartoon was published in the international edition:

NY Times tries to backpedal after publishing ‘abhorrent’ anti-Semitic cartoon in international edition https://t.co/uYLqgG3RBF

And with that, it’s been asked:

Missing here is any explanation on how a blatantly antisemitic cartoon made it past the editors or what is being done to prevent it from happening again. https://t.co/U14xehZQSC

The Federalist’s Erielle Davidson laid it all out.

Here’s the whole thread:

Pause to consider that the same reason the anti-Semitic cartoon in the international New York Times made it past several editors is the same reason the Left loves Ilhan Omar. They don’t care about anti-Semitism. They condone it.

Same reason AOC praised Jeremy Corbyn.

— Erielle Davidson (@politicalelle) April 27, 2019

Same reason the BDS Movement flourishes on college campuses under the auspices of Left-wing professors.

— Erielle Davidson (@politicalelle) April 27, 2019

Same reason Democrats have made no moves to remove Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

— Erielle Davidson (@politicalelle) April 27, 2019

Same reason almost a dozen Democrats have met privately with Farrakhan.

— Erielle Davidson (@politicalelle) April 27, 2019

Same reason the Women’s March has, by and large, been an arm of the Democrat Party.

— Erielle Davidson (@politicalelle) April 27, 2019

Same reason hate crimes against Orthodox Jews in Brooklyn has gotten little press.

— Erielle Davidson (@politicalelle) April 27, 2019

It’s all the same reason. And the Left knows it. Anti-Semitism is justified by the aims of cultural Marxism.

Bingo.
