'Beyond offensive': House Dem tells Peter Strzok he'd like to see him awarded a Purple Heart [video]

FBI agent Peter Strzok continues to be asked questions at a contentious House hearing today, and he’s already won applause from Democrats on the two committees. Rep. Steve Cohen, a Tennessee Democrat, has been so impressed at Strzok’s “Resistance” that he’d like to honor him for it this way:

Just when you thought the Dems at the Strzok hearing couldn’t sink lower…

Beyond offensive. Maybe he needs to hear the stories of real Purple Heart recipients.

How absolutely vile and disgusting

All they have to do is not be insane. https://t.co/2mw90luDWR

And @RepCohen can say something this disrespectful to Americans that actually served, because the people of Tennessee will keep electing him. He is a disgrace and I’m embarrassed he represents my state! https://t.co/r0dIJOPNSv

Can it get more shameless than that? The hearing isn’t over yet.
