The Resistance’s parade of anger and despair continues today, with Patton Oswalt sounding all but resigned to a horrible fate: Passage of the GOP tax bill:
Is there any going back after this #TaxBillScam? To America? Does it matter now if Trump is impeached? There’s no America now. Not the one we knew. Sorry, feeling real despair this morning

And just think, President Trump hasn’t even signed the bill yet as it still has to go back through the House.
Come on. It's a TAX BILL. It didn't repeal the 13th Amendment, for cryin' out loud. https://t.co/nNWqdeJJrG

If a tax bill is enough to make The Resistance get full-blown apocalyptic, just imagine how much worse it could get for them.
If you are feeling despair over people being able to keep their own money, you got bigger problems than the state of American politics. https://t.co/YfSsubid8h

Holy crap. The bill sucks, but it's not the end of the world. Don't be such a drama queen. https://t.co/7bQxR6RSWT

There’s no America now?
Wow.
I’m glad that no one is overreacting. https://t.co/88t5ub1yVP— Jennifer Bossypants (@ajenable) December 2, 2017
Imagine if the right did this after every spending increase. ??? https://t.co/C9QBktOTOv

It would probably blow Oswalt's mind if he knew how long America did NOT have an income tax. Blowhard. https://t.co/ChVF6RLTb7

You're right Patty.
America is doomed because people will be able to keep a little more money from your Benevolent Government of Good Intentions and Shitty Results.
To be safe, everyone to left of Lindsey Graham should move out of the country.https://t.co/CyJ9bmhKNb

And Kurt Eichenwald has called on millennials to leave the country, so there are other options.
