This morning, President Trump published these tweets that generated immediate blowback:
The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.

…Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help. They….

…want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort. 10,000 Federal workers now on Island doing a fantastic job.

The military and first responders, despite no electric, roads, phones etc., have done an amazing job. Puerto Rico was totally destroyed.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 30, 2017
Fake News CNN and NBC are going out of their way to disparage our great First Responders as a way to "get Trump." Not fair to FR or effort!

Reuters’ WH & congressional reporter Amanda Becker presented a hypothetical scenario revolving around a natural disaster during a previous presidency:
Can you even IMAGINE if during Katrina GWB called New Orleans lazy & made it about his image? (I realize no bc GWB would've never done that)
— Amanda Becker (@AmandaBecker) September 30, 2017
Ok then, what would have happened?
They would have treated him the exact same way as they did? https://t.co/ibcAUEyzsR

It would have been difficult for the lefty media to have been much harder on Bush, for those who remember what actually happened:
Right, "WTF we love Bush now". Get bent.

This particular “alternate history” probably wouldn’t be very alternate.

Ray Nagin (among other locals) should be in prison for murder for his handling of Katrina. This really is not a road you want to go down.

You realize y'all crucified Bush over Katrina, right? https://t.co/sv4LbWHP94

W was blamed for causing Katrina, was blamed for not going there, was blamed for going there, was blamed for just existing, so get real. https://t.co/u9xGuMEVvX

As I recall, they declared that GWB "hates black people" and was personally responsible for the destruction, so I'm guessing about the same. https://t.co/2WAhcc4pCA
