Sanchez shines while Tebow fails to impress at OTAs

According to New York Jets beat writer Jenny Vrentas, who was present at the team’s OTAs on Thursday, Mark Sanchez outperformed Tim Tebow by A LOT. We all knew Tebow wasn’t the best passer in the world, but we thought he would have improved at least a LITTLE BIT throughout the offseason.

That doesn’t seem to be the case…

Sanchez with a few good and hard throws to Schilens and Kerley in 7-on-7s. Kerley took his for a TD. #nyj

Sanchez just threw a 75-yard TD to Stephen Hill, who was wide open and sprinted easily up the sideline. #nyj

By an unofficial count, Sanchez took 17 snaps in 11-on-11s, 7-for-14 with a TD. Tebow took 9 snaps, 6-for-10. #nyj

After throwing two interceptions in practice and being vastly outperformed by Mark Sanchez, his critics were out in full force.

Tim Tebow threw 2 interceptions in OTA's today. Good for him, being in mid-season form this early in the year

Oh tim tebow got picked off twice in a row at jets camp? I guess that's what you'd expect from a qb with a rating of 27.5
