The Boston Red Sox have signed 31-year-old pitcher Mark Prior. Back in 2001, he was the second overall draft pick by the Cubs. Prior finished third in Cy Young voting and led the Cubbies into the NLCS in 2003. He went 18-6 with a 2.43 ERA and 1.10 WHIP and 245 strikeouts in 211 1/3 innings during that phenomenal season.

The only thing that has kept Prior from reaching greatness has been injuries. If he can stay healthy, Prior could be a great signing by Boston.
