The San Francisco 49ers have been busy trying to improve their offense this free agency. Not only are they pushing hard to get Peyton Manning, the team has now signed two deep-threat wide receivers. First they signed future Hall of Famer Randy Moss, and Saturday night they inked Super Bowl hero Mario Manningham.
Manningham has spent his entire career catching balls from Peyton’s little brother, Eli. If the 49ers end up with big brother, Peyton, things could get interesting.

From ESPN:
Free agent wide receiver Mario Manningham has reached an agreement on a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
Manningham was expected to depart the New York Giants in free agency after an impressive postseason and fourth quarter performance in the Super Bowl and he will be joining the team he helped beat in the NFC Championship.
Manningham will join an upgraded receiving corps that also includes Randy Moss, who signed a one-year contract Monday, and Michael Crabtree, the team’s 10th overall pick in the 2009 draft out of Texas Tech who had 72 receptions for 874 yards and four touchdowns in 2011. San Francisco also remains in the running for free agent quarterback Peyton Manning.
