As I reported earlier, the pitchforks are out for Elon Musk now that the Wall Street Journal has published a story (that CNN's Kaitlan Collins picked up) claiming that Musk ordered the slowdown of satellite internet, blindsiding the Ukrainian military. I bookmarked a post a week ago in which Musk addressed the throttling, saying that it wasn't Starlink that was slowed down, but Starfield, a military-grade satellite internet service that is owned and operated by the U.S. government. Still, The Wall Street Journal insists that it was Musk who ordered the throttling of service. To me, it seems strange that Musk would do so, considering how he gave free Starlink internet access to Ukraine at the beginning of its war with Russia.

As I reported, the controversy, whether ginned up or not, has all sorts of people calling for the next Democrat administration to nationalize Starlink as well as SpaceX. "It might sound communist, but …" Musk treated us to a flying car last Thursday — the fastest way to cripple that kind of innovation would be to nationalize his businesses.

I have a few Musk-related posts in my cache here, so I thought I'd roll them out together. The first plays off a quote from Kara Swisher on which our own Warren Squire published a VIP post:

That's cold. We know what happened the last time Musk posted, "Message received."

That was Lorena Gonzalez, former member of the California State Assembly. Musk is in Texas now … we have no idea where she landed.

But wait! There's more lawfare!

As I reported earlier, idiot Rep. Pramila Jayapal is demanding congressional oversight of Musk. That's not fascist at all.

One more: Just a couple of days ago, Musk announced on X that starting next year, he'd be giving a share in SpaceX to every kid in the country.

Just because he has money, liberals think they can tell Musk how, on what, and when to spend his money. Liberal troll evan loves worf complained that Musk could do it today if he wanted to, and got hit with a Community Note saying, no, he couldn't.

Well, yeah, but … why doesn't he just give away Tesla shares then?

Yeah, what, smart guy?
