Here's a crazy story out of Lawrence, Massachusetts. When Libs of TikTok said that Democratic Mayor Brian DePeña can barely speak English, we really didn't believe it until we saw the video clip. DePena makes Rep. Shri Thanedar sound like a native speaker. Oh, and in other news, DePeña was just indicted for fraudulently obtaining and using more than $1.5 million in COVID-19 relief money.

The press was waiting for him post-indictment, and you can actually hear a staffer (or what we think is a staffer) saying, "He doesn't speak English, no comment." He says "God bless you" very clearly and often, though.

I was prepared to blame his election on affluent, suicidally empathetic white liberals, but it turns out the town of Lawrence, MA is 83% Hispanic. So, this is just a simpler case of the Third World continuing to obey its inane tribal instincts after resettling in the First World.
