CNN Talks to Slurmit the Frog of the Portland Frog Brigade

Twitter

As I reported on Tuesday night, End Wokeness decided to check in on Defiance.org's alternative to the State of the Union address, called the State of the Swamp. As I wrote, the stage was crowded with people in inflatable frog costumes, and Jim Acosta even joined some of the people in the audience in wearing a frog hat on stage.

I had thought maybe they'd whipped up the frog costumes to underpin the "swamp" theme, but according to what I thought was a local news broadcast, but turns out to be a TikTok video from CNN, educated me on the Portland Frog Brigade.

"I am present here to show Donald Trump and Republicans that we, the people, want them to uphold the Constitution," said a woman in a pink frog costume with "Amphifa" written across the front.

The interviewer also talked to Slurmit the Frog, who didn't give his real name and wore a mask to explain that "the frog has become a symbol of resistance." I didn't know that. I did know that there was somebody dressed as a rainbow unicorn protesting outside an ICE detention facility.

Is it just me, or is it hard to take someone seriously who's dressed as a frog?

President Trump was right … these people are crazy.

He does. Here's a guy who goes by the handle "the_queertoad" and posted to social media, "Someone just needs to bomb this administration. This government needs to burn and a bullet needs to be put in every on of Trump's cronies heads."

The post continues:

… praised by liberals for starting the frog costume trend, was arrested for interfering with a peace officer and second-degree disorderly conduct. Todd has stated in interviews that he is not a peaceful person. On social media, he urges terror attacks and killings of his political targets. Todd was quickly released without bail.

So the guy who started the frog costume trend, which the Democrats happily picked up on for their State of the Union protest event, wants to put a bullet in the heads of all of Trump's cronies. And elected officials shared a stage with these lunatics.

Antifa is just an idea.

Someone asked who paid to fly them all from Portland to Washington, D.C., so they could dance around with Acosta and Robert De Niro.

Yes, they're Antifa, and Democrat politicians were happy to share the stage with them. Thanks, CNN, for interviewing a masked Antifa member before the State of the Union.
