I don't understand people like William Kelly. When I heard him berating the "fake Christians" in Cities Church in Minneapolis, I knew I recognized the voice. This was the same guy I covered harassing National Guard members in Washington, D.C., telling them they were breaking their oath by being there. But then a group storms a Baptist church in Minneapolis because they say the pastor works for ICE, and he's in Minneapolis, yelling … always yelling. Don Lemon just happened to be in the neighborhood, too, with Starbucks and donuts for the agitators.
I say all the time that I don't understand how these people function in normal society. He was mad at the fake Christians because they were "comfortable" and not "starving" like those in the ICE detention center.
As I wrote the other night, he went on some podcast or something and dared Attorney General Pam Bondi to come after him with charges. Bondi has a lot piled up on her desk, but Harmeet Dhillon assured us that Bondi and the Justice Department would pursue federal charges.
Kelly says he didn't interrupt anything … the music kept playing, and people kept praying … praying that this wasn't another mass shooting in the making.
