All right, I'm going to be the language warning right up front for this one, because the language gets a little salty.
If I'm getting the story right, this farmer made a satire video about how his "splorn" crop was going to waste because of President Donald Trump's tariffs on China. Occupy Democrats were dumb enough to pick it up, and someone at CNN who follows Occupy Democrats reached out to the farmer to get his comment on Trump and tariffs.
Watch to the end:
LMAO!!🤣🤣🤣

CNN actually tried to interview a farmer after Occupy Democrats shared his satire video, where he joked about not being able to sell his made-up crops because of Trump. He was literally fvcking around about imaginary vegetables, and they took the bait.
Watch it to… pic.twitter.com/CTR3jJQQ7G
Someone from CNN got right on the horn to talk about splorn. Who will pick the splorn if we don't open the border, anyway? It'll just rot on the vine.
I love splorn 😂 pic.twitter.com/HMu8PE3TJH

Why can’t he just sell it in the US? They could make high fructose splorn syrup out of it? 😂

When I was a kid, GrandPa had us picking Splorn by hand.

This is probably the first time CNN has literally cared about farmers.
He should have done the interview.

Missed a tremendous opportunity!
The first time he said, "Splorn," it was OBVIOUS!!!
— NoNonsense2 (@NoMoNonsense2) September 16, 2025
Wait...does this mean I can't get popsplorn at the movie theatre???

Devastated! I just love Splorn on the Splob.

Splorn is keto friendly and vegan approved while also being a key part of the carnivore diet. Critical indeed.

He should have gone through with the interview to see how many CNN editors would let "splorn" slip into print.
He should have done the interview. CNN would have aired it. 😂

You can tell this is a real farmer, not one of the fake models they dressed up as farmers for those cringeworthy "White Dudes for Harris" campaign spots.
