I attended college back in the 1980s before there were such things as Gender Studies degrees. I sent both of my kids to a Catholic college, and they seem to have graduated unscathed. Both were in STEM fields, so that might have helped.
So many of the crazies who Libs of TikTok posts are educators. The most frightening ones are the ones who go on TikTok and tell students that if their families don't affirm their gender, then they should consider the teacher their parent.
Academia is so far gone. Colleges and universities (and public schools) go out of their way to hire the most insane people they can — I guess that's part of DEI. Check out this teacher:
Meet Zachary Sandri, a man pretending to be a woman. Zachary is a teacher at @redoakisd. He says he gets gender euphoria from being called ma’am and feels affirmed when his students use his female name and pronouns.

Would you feel comfortable with this person teaching your kid? pic.twitter.com/kWMeRpsUqi
But that's not the professor I want to focus on. Libs of TikTok managed to find this:
Meet Shanna Kattari a professor at @umich. This is her bio.

Yes this is real.
Our tax dollars fund this University. pic.twitter.com/vdDfmPvWDm
Check out that bio. "A white, Jewish, nonbinary, disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent (AuDHD), polyamorous, queer fat Femme, their practice and community background is as a board-certified sexologist, certified sexuality educator and social justice activist."

Which board certifies you as a sexologist?
Shanna K. Kattari has earned a PhD studying this garbage, and of course, is an associate professor in the Women's and Gender Studies Department.
I'm surprised they admitted they were white — they checked all of the other intersectionality boxes.
The University of Michigan posted this video on purpose:
In this preview, Dr. Shanna Katz Kattari from @UMSocialWork discusses how feminism plays a key role in fighting for #transjustice and #transrights. We'll pass on the full video.
This video has been making the rounds lately as well, and it shows just how liberal universities are with the idea of an area of study. Translate this if you can:
here Chaya, found the audio version… 😂 pic.twitter.com/8btGTZYufZ

That isn’t a bio, it’s a diagnosis.

That's perfectly stated.
