After kicking to the curb such greats as Brian Stelter and Chris Cillizza and Don Lemon, we'd thought CNN was crazy getting rid of such talent. The good news is, they're promoting from within. When I saw this tweet from CNN Communications, my first thought was to check Glenn Greenwald's timeline, as I believe he's the one who coined the "Fusion Natasha" Bertrand name. Greenwald has long accused Bertrand of doing little but transcribing CIA press releases. But now CNN has promoted her to correspondent.

In the meantime, I'm hearing that Catherine Herridge has been fired by CBS.
