You must know by now that the mainstream media is doing whatever it can to prop up Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. They figure the best way to go about it is to join with Team Trump in attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. The journalists at CNN decided to look into DeSantis’ “close ties” to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, who is bad for being black and conservative. We laughed when CNN showed video of DeSantis hugging Thomas — but then we cracked up when CNN showed the hug again in slow-motion. Pretend you’re a CNN producer for a second … what part of your brain decides to go full Zapruder with the hug clip? What possible journalistic reason is there for it?

Think about it: Someone at CNN had to have come up with the idea to produce this “story.” Who, and why? To taint DeSantis by association with both Thomas and the Federalist Society, two of the biggest villains on the Right.
This is time they could have spent reporting on the House Oversight Republicans considering holding FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt, which is actual current news.
