As you know, Team Trump and Team DeSantis are going at it on Twitter, with the primary battleground being the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Team DeSantis hits Donald Trump for sticking with Anthony Fauci. And yesterday, Donald Trump “truthed” that New York had fewer coronavirus deaths than Florida. That doesn’t account for a lot of things, such as the population difference, especially the elderly population. Florida was somewhere in the middle when it came to COVID-19 deaths; it certainly wasn’t in the top three.
Now disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo has crawled out his hole to back up Trump, calling Gov. Ron DeSantis’ response to the pandemic a “policy of denial” that led to a very large second wave.
Remember how in love the press was with Cuomo when he was doing those daily coronavirus updates? He was showing the rest of the country how it’s done.
Donald Trump tells the truth, finally.
New York got hit first and worst but New Yorkers acted responsibly. Florida’s policy of denial allowed Covid to spread and that’s why they had a very large second wave. https://t.co/dZb59fsSPu

JFC dude.

At one point, New York was more than half the cases in the country, but that changed as New Yorkers spread the virus across the country.

Good to hear from the guy who's responsible for killing more grandparents than anyone in American history.

Talking about telling truth, why don't you tell the truth how you killed at least 15,000 people and then lied about it so you could make over 5 million bucks on a book you didn't even write that barely anybody read?

Bruh – you literally hid the deaths of nursing home residents.

Your policies intentionally killed the elderly. You're a murderer who should be in prison.

Uh, I still haven’t heard the reason you refused to use the hospital ship provided to you. Was the old folks’ home just a little closer and more convenient?

Bro, you might want to sit this one out.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend (that condemned thousands of octogenarians to their deaths while sexually harassing 1/3 of New York)

So he's got your vote? Not the best recommendation.

Tell us again why you stepped down as governor…
Your opinion means nothing, you’re an abject failure. Develop some humility and slink away.

Didn’t have a Granny Killer Cuomo – Donald Trump alliance on my 2023 bingo card, but at this point nothing even shocks me anymore 🍿

Trump surprised us when he said that Charlie Crist was actually a pretty good governor, and now here’s Cuomo poking his head out to back up Trump. Is Cuomo aiming for a vice presidential spot?
