It’s like the joke about Pete Buttigieg — no one in America could name the Transportation Secretary if he weren’t doing such a crappy job. The New York Times has a piece Saturday arguing that “if you’re hearing about the border, someone is trying to scare you.” That must be why the Biden administration and the mainstream media do everything they can to ignore the border. If all you heard about was “kids in cages” during the Trump administration, but never hear about the border during the Biden administration, someone is lying to you. Even the people in charge keep slipping up and calling it a “crisis” by accident.
You probably won’t hear about this guy, who was deported once, in the New York Times:
“The suspect facing kidnapping and murder charges in Alabama after a 12-year-old girl’s escape from a mobile home prompted the discovery of two decomposing corpses is an illegal immigrant who was deported from the United States once before…” https://t.co/TisDBg5y3L

This too is from Fox News, which is obviously trying to scare us:

Peak gaslighting from the NYT today denying the invasion of illegal immigrants: “If you’re hearing about the border, someone is trying to scare you.” pic.twitter.com/3GM1eoailh

Exactly. What is happening on the border is scary and you should be afraid.

All busloads should be dropped off in front of the NYT building.

Yet they are whining up a storm about all the illegals sent to NYC

The NYT thinks they can get away with it because swing states aren't border states, and because their readers don't know who @BillFOXLA is.

I live 200 miles from the border, and I've found migrants sleeping on my front porch. Reports say that at least 1 MILLION 'get aways', were never apprehended. Not that it makes much difference, because after 'processing' they simply release all of the others into our cities.

Not hearing about it, especially by those in charge is more frightening

I can walk outside and see Mexico, but sure NYT, tell me about the border.

This from the NYT on a day when Mayor Adams is literally screaming about the unsustainably high number of migrants flooding into New York City. We need to put a blindfold on the Statue of Liberty.

I love how stupid they think we are. Or perhaps their subscriber base *is* that stupid

We went from 1933 Germany and concentration camps to "what's a border?" https://t.co/JV8T2P9yhd

Here’s the author:
“If you’re hearing about the border, it’s likely that somebody is trying to scare you.”
I wrote on the militarization of the border, the lack of US immigration policy and fear.https://t.co/1lmcQJMMuQ

So she does admit the Biden administration has no immigration policy.
