Neely family lawyer says no one on that train asked Jordan, 'How can I help you?'

We touched on this in an earlier post in which Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asked us all to pretend that Jordan Neely was our son, much as President Barack Obama said that if he had a son, he’d look like Trayvon Martin. The Neely family wasted no time in securing an attorney to put out press releases, so we know that Neely had a family. Maybe one of those family members could have taken Neely in and given him something to eat, but instead, he chose to take his case to the New York City subway.

CBS News reports that the Neely family’s lawyer said that no one on the subway asked Neely how they could help him. That’s probably because they were afraid of him because he was yelling about not being afraid to die. Even AOC said when that happens, you stare at your shoes and hope he moves on.

This editor has been to New York City only a handful of times but remembers a homeless man pushing a shopping cart getting really aggressive with a man who was trying to give him a new pair of shoes.

It’s just like all the looters in the big blue cities … they’re just stealing bread to eat.
