George Conway lists himself in his Twitter bio as a Washington Post contributing columnist, which is a pretty good gig for the husband of a former White House press secretary. Maybe it was the cutting-edge wit he displayed in his tweets that caught WaPo’s eye.
It sounds like the setup for a joke: So, George Conway drives past this strip club in Tampa. But the punchline falls flat. He can’t believe Florida still allows strip clubs “with the kids and all.”

Were there children in the strip club? Was there someone at the door to check IDs to make sure children weren’t allowed in the strip club? That fascist Ron DeSantis probably passed some law making it illegal for parents to take their kids to strip clubs … although we’ve seen video of some of the racier Drag Queen Story Hours and “all-ages” drag shows, and they practically are strip shows, with little kids stuffing dollar bills down some man’s thong.
