If there’s anyone who benefits from privilege, it’s Tennessee State Rep. Gloria Johnson. Though she’s lumped in with the “Tennessee Three,” she survived ouster by one single vote, so the liberal white woman got to keep her seat. She’s still doing the media tour with her colleagues, one of whom has already been reinstated to his seat. So two were voted out, and one of those two is already back in.
So what makes Johnson so special? She has the spotlight, and she’s using it to out a Republican in the Tennessee House who wants to bring back lynchings. She’s not naming him, though.
BREAKING: Democrat Gloria Johnson, just told CNN that a Republican in the Tennessee House Criminal Justice Committee said he wants to bring back lynchings.
But she won’t mention his name.
I think she made this up because if it were true then she would have said his name. Am I… pic.twitter.com/XWuCW3C9QD

“Am I right, or am I right?”
She's lying or the Republican was, since "lynching" was always illegal. You can't "bring that back"…pretty stupid all around

She is relishing her days in the limelight.

Pffft. The 3 of them are losing their momentum. They're not "the current thing" anymore. And she's been shouting "racism" from the get-go. She's DIRTY. She's trouble. Proves they have no real lives if they have time to keep the pot stirred~

If she’s lying and said the persons name, that person could come after her, what’s the legal term for that again???

There’s something really strange and manipulative going on in Tennessee. I don’t know what it is. But I know it’s not what they’re telling us.

If it’s true and she doesn’t do anything about it then she’s just as guilty!

There was a Republican in one of the committees in our state, that did make a comment to bring them back, but only as a option for the death penalty in Tennessee.

Idaho just passed a bill to allow firing squads to take care of death row inmates, and people think that’s somehow worse than lethal injection.
One of the three Democrat state reps to lead the TN Capitol riot appears not to know the meaning of the word "lynching."pic.twitter.com/KSCxYCBcgY

Lynching is extrajudicial killing by a group of people. Not all lynchings involve hanging, and more to the point here, not all hangings constitute lynching. If a defendant is tried, convicted, and then hanged, that isn't lynching; it's the ordinary administration of justice.

Context!
I could believe that she's deliberately misconstruing some comment that is more or less innocuous in context, and she won't name names because she knows it would be easy to provide that context.

That seems to be the case.
