How many people were shot in Chicago while Mayor Lori Lightfoot danced in this video?

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot put out a video a couple of weeks back informing her citizens to forget the haters: she won’t quit until Chicago is the safest big city in America. How long does she plan to serve as mayor, because that’s going to take a long, long time. She’s even bragging about putting more police on the streets, although the real problem in guns streaming in from neighboring states with lax gun control laws.

We’re not sure what the occasion was here, and it beats last year’s karaoke video.

Since @chicagosmayor's term began, Chicago has suffered 2,278 homicides and over 9,000 shot.

Since January 1, the city has endured 41 homicides and 194 shot.

Yet here Lightfoot is blissfully dancing and asking voters to return her to office.
