The New Republic notes no ban on gas stoves is happening despite conservatives getting heated

Apologies for another post on gas stoves, but there wouldn’t have been any discussion at all had Consumer Product Safety Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. not told Bloomberg that gas stoves were a hidden hazard and that “any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.” The Washington Post came out with its expert analysis saying that the GOP had thrust gas stoves and President Joe Biden’s green agenda into the culture wars.

AOC called conservatives’ reaction a “meltdown,” and The New Republic notes that no such ban is happening, despite conservatives getting heated on Twitter.
