White House not satisfied with Facebook's efforts to do something about Tucker Carlson's COVID posts

Lest we forget, Twitter wasn’t the only social media platform that was mixed up with the White House and other federal agencies like the FBI and DHS. Facebook was getting its marching orders as well, but since this was lifesaving information about the coronavirus, it was OK.

In an email to a Facebook executive from White House Director of Digital Strategy Rob Flaherty, Flaherty says, “… the top post about vaccines today is tucker Carlson saying they don’t work. Yesterday was Tomi Lehren saying she won’t take one. This is exactly why I want to know what ‘Reduction’ actually looks like.” The Facebook exec replied, “Thanks — I saw the same thing when we hung up. Running this down now.”

Hold up … Tomi Lahren saying she won’t take the vaccine? What about all of the liberals during the Trump administration (ahem, Kamala Harris) saying there’s no way they’d be taking a vaccine developed under Trump? Where was the concern then?

Here is an email from White House Digital Director @RFlaherty46 telling Facebook to censor @TuckerCarlson and @TomiLahren.

They respond “running this down now.”

Funny thing is FB is complying not because it’s coming from the government, but because they align with the ideology of the people who are requesting it.

They wouldn’t censor a liberal and would run to the media if Trumps people had made such a request.

Yes, we do.

Some people are arguing that Flaherty isn’t asking Facebook to “censor” Carlson and Lahren, which is true — it’s just the White House’s director of digital strategy letting Facebook know their efforts at “reduction” are a joke. How many times, though, had Flaherty been on the phone with this person and how many emails did they exchange over posts like Lahren’s?
