President Joe Biden and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are holding a joint press conference as this post is being written, and Zelenskyy has said he’s sure like some more of those Patriot defense systems:
Zelensky says to Biden that he wants more Patriot defense systems:
"After that we will send another signal to President Biden that we'd like to get more Patriots."

Biden on Patriot systems going to Ukraine: "It's a defensive weapons system. It's not escalatory, it's defensive… we'd love for them not to have to use it. Just stop the attacks."

As we told you Tuesday night, Sen. Rand Paul, who’s no fan of the $1.7 dollar, 4,000-page omnibus spending bill, did his own version of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and noted that an additional $40 billion is allocated for Ukraine … on top of what we’ve already sent in aid. Rep. Thomas Massie has a question: Why are all of these aid packages for Ukraine being buried in other legislation that has nothing to do with Ukraine? He answers his own question at the end.
Why is Ukraine funding buried in the bill that averts a shutdown of our own government?
Why was previous Ukraine funding linked to hurricane disaster relief for Florida?
Why is Zelensky speaking to Congress tonight?
Because Americans are growing very weary of funding this war.

Heck, I work in defense and I’m tired of it. No money for sustainment, refit or refresh. Just new gear based on existing designs being sold overseas

They are growing weary of funding the corruption that goes along with a war that nobody wants.

Because it's all about the money. Follow the money and where it ends up (audit Ukraine) and you'll know why the funding is buried in bills that will pass.

Weary is an understatement… I'm disgusted, furious and seething.

We're done. This is a laundering scheme that needs to end now. No objectives. No accounting.
— Baseline (@WHPeterson64) December 21, 2022
It’s called money laundering and most of Congress is part of it.

Weary is an understatement. The nation is falling apart and people are desperate. No one here’s life has improved from funding this war, and that amount of money could have done great things either staying in our pockets or at least spent domestically.

EVERYONE, this is like a contract with a cable company or an insurance company: save even more when you bundle!

Not weary but angry. Angry that our working poor can not afford to put food on the table or gas in their cars but we can send billions to the Ukraine. There should be a peace agreement by now.

Americans don’t support Zekensky or Ukraine. Our globalist politicians do. Like in Europe, the political class doesn’t represent the people who elect it.

I was weary when we sent the first damn penny. I’m sick of this shit.

The Swamp and its leadership, Republican and Democrat, love war.
It's literally their favorite thing.

We aren't "funding a war." Where's the audit? Where, or to who, is the money actually going?
— Missi 🇺🇸 (@Missidc5) December 21, 2022
It would be nice to have some sort of money trail so we know where all the aid is going, as it’s looking like we’re going to be sending even more after Zelenskyy addresses Congress tonight.
