It’s pretty clear by now that Elon Musk has a middle-schooler’s sense of humor. Look at how much fun he got out of the media’s coverage of his cruel firing of Ligma and Johnson (which he called “one of the best trolls” of the media ever).
As you know by now, Musk has reinstated former President Donald Trump’s Twitter account, but Trump has said that he’s going to stay put on TruthSocial, his own social media network. Still, the temptation to hit that blue “Tweet” button has got to be overwhelming. Musk put it into the form of a meme, but verified mom and whistleblower Lindsey Boylan says Musk, along with Trump, is foisting rape culture on America.
Rape culture America. Brought to you by the billionaire owner of this site and a former President.
Disgusting. https://t.co/8r88tzLuxf

I’m sorry if you’re a musk stan or too stupid to get it.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) November 21, 2022
Rape culture flourishes in societies where women are tools and targets for demeaning jokes made by billionaires powerful men.
I’m sorry you’re either too dumb to get it or too evil to care.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) November 21, 2022
Actually it's a hilarious if crude joke. But you'd have to have a sense of humor to get it
— Heather Oleson (@HeatherOleson1) November 21, 2022
Thank you for providing an excellent example of not getting the meme. Really it's quite hilarious that so called intellectuals can't get something this simple and obvious.
— RockNRollin HoneyBadger (@gentleBstrd) November 21, 2022
Sounds like you're projecting your fantasy onto a meme that means something completely different.
— Brenda (@CleoGamer81) November 21, 2022
A lot of her followers are saying they reported it, without much hope that’ll get them anywhere.
Lindsay is right, this is an example of rape culture – the poor monk is not having his boundaries respected
Men, do not let the harlots tempt you away from your walk with Christ
Stay pure Kings pic.twitter.com/436p4n5kPQ

Thank you for calling attention to this disgusting meme.
Not only is the woman in the picture ignoring the man's clear refusal of her advances, she assaults him by exposing herself.
Sexual assault should never be depicted as a joke. #NoMeansNo ladies

I just deleted my IG soft porn app yesterday 😅

Bring back more words like “Harlot” and “Strumpet”!

My favorite is slattern.

Is that a monk? I thought it was Jack Dorsey.
— Tess Summers 🇬🇧🇮🇪 (@tesssummers98) November 21, 2022
Yeah this is why feminism is a joke.
— Melissa Dawn (@MelissaDawn77) November 21, 2022
Rape culture. Critical Gender Theory. Critical Race Theory. It’s interesting how all the trendy, new left-wing movements involve divining the inner thoughts of the alleged (then instantaneously convicted) micro-aggressors. More concisely: Thoughtcrime.
— Jeffrey (@jeffjfyke) November 21, 2022
Why must people who don’t find something funny insist that NO ONE else find it funny? They just can’t help themselves.
No one is forcing you to laugh. You don’t need to fabricate some altruistic BS just to shift the attention back on you.
Don’t like it? Don’t read it. Move on
— Sebastian Stern (@sternseb) November 21, 2022
Boylan is not moving on.
Tweets like yours Lindsay cheapen actual rape accusation.
— The Failing NY Times (parody) (@FormerNewspaper) November 21, 2022
Have you ever heard of the term rape culture? Because it appears you have not. I’d suggest that you look it up before trying to parody journalism.
— Lindsey Boylan (@LindseyBoylan) November 21, 2022
We don’t need to look it up; we’ve just had the perfect example shown to us. What culture is it when we have drag queens read books to kindergarteners? It’s on the tip of our tongues.
According to knowyourmeme.com, “In 2011, comic artist Milo Manara released a series of erotic paintings based on the poetry of Jean de La Fontaine.” So blame his too if you’re going to blame Trump.
