It was a crazy night on Twitter Tuesday night, but we did see a tweet go by that gave the results of an exit-polling question: 66 percent of voters asked said they didn’t think President Joe Biden should run again in 2024. These were both Democratic and Republican voters surveyed. Biden is already the oldest person to serve as president and turns 80 in just a couple of weeks … and he still has two more years left in this term.
One reporter was good enough to ask him about that poll Wednesday:
REPORTER: "Two-thirds of Americans…say that they don't think you should run for reelection…How does that factor into your decision…?"
BIDEN: "It doesn't."

Oh, we’re watching all right. As long as Biden doesn’t show any signs of cognitive or physical impairment, we’re good with him running against Gov. Ron DeSantis. However, since he declared the pandemic over, no more campaigning from his basement with Dr. Jill at his side — we want him out on the campaign trail.

Somewhere in his feeble mind does Biden think he’s doing a good job? At what, exactly? He just gave two speeches on the threat of extreme MAGA but never pointed to one of his accomplishments.
Then again, who do the Democrats have on the bench? The name we’ve heard floated most often as his replacement on the ticket is Pete Buttigieg, and we’d love to see him run as well.
