As Twitchy just reported, James Woods had no time for Vox’s explanation of why it’s totally normal not to have election results announced on election night. Karine Jean-Pierre assured reporters it takes time to count all of the votes — maybe weeks. We’ve been set up for the past few days to believe that it’s completely above board for it to take multiple days if not weeks to count the results of a state election.
Then, as we reported Monday night, Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman’s campaign was filing suit to have mail-in ballots that had no date or the wrong date counted. That’s an election irregularity, wouldn’t you say?
ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl tweeted Tuesday that winning candidates generally don’t complain about election irregularities — it’s the losers.
Winning candidates generally don’t complain about election irregularities.
If you’re complaining, you probably think you are losing.

A lot of people still think Stacey Abrams is the rightful governor of Georgia (including Jean-Pierre), and she complained a lot about voter suppression.
We can tell you care about democracy when this is your take about how voting machines are failing.

Candidates who are being helped by widespread voting machine failures generally don’t complain about election irregularities.

So you’re ok with 20% voting machine failure?
— NevilleTheCat (@FearTheFloof) November 8, 2022
Well, if there are ENOUGH election irregularities, then you end up losing instead of winning.

People who have to put their books as their profile picture generally do so because it isn’t selling.

Is this Journalism? Wouldn’t you care as a journalist if something was irregular.

Lmao there’s no way this can be a serious tweet. How can one person be so stupid.
This is why no one takes the media seriously any longer.

We’ll see how well this ages

We count on blue-check journalists like Jonathan Karl to get to the bottom of “election irregularities” so we all have more trust in the system.
