It’s a conundrum: Elon Musk is now (erroneously) portrayed as some kind of right-wing extremist, and yet he also founded an electric car company, and the Biden administration is doing everything it can (including throttling our energy independence) to force people into EVs.
Parkland father Fred Guttenberg, a gun control activist who has done his part to make Twitter the cesspool he claims it to be, says it took only four days for Twitter to fall to right-wing extremism. At least half of us here at Twitchy are on Twitter for eight hours a day, five days a week, and we can’t say we’ve seen much of a change, but we must be looking in the wrong places. Guttenberg is fed up and says if you drive a Tesla, you might want to rethink that.
It took only 4 days, but Twitter has turned into a cesspool of lies, hate, racism, antisemitism, & right-wing extremism. It happened because of @elonmusk, which means that it is financed by Tesla. If you have had it with Elon, but you still drive a Tesla, time to rethink that.

Then why are you still posting on here, Freddy?

I follow a few thousand people and have yet to see anything like that.

Yes, great idea! Let’s all switch back to gas cars because someone tweeted something we don’t like.
— Chris Barberich (@cbarberich) October 31, 2022
Makes me want to buy a Tesla.

I haven't seen it. But I have seen many a liberal claiming that this is the case. Strange.

Leave this 'cesspool of lies'. You, with your blue-checkmark, are only sanctioning and supporting this platform by your continued presence. Have the courage of your conviction, rather than just virtue-posing and complaining.
— Chris (@myopicseer) October 31, 2022
I haven't seen a single example of what you're claiming, Karen. I mean, Fred.
— Tinsleybach (@tinsleybach) October 31, 2022
Twitter hasn’t changed anything yet 😂
— Doggiewumpus (@Doggie_wumpus) October 31, 2022
Just block all those whose opinions you don't want to read. I don't get the big deal.
— Dotty Hopkins (@dottyhop) October 31, 2022
Elon hasn't changed anything yet.
— Alan Dail⚡️🔋🇺🇦 (@alandail) October 31, 2022
Literally nothing has changed this is all in your head and the narrative that is being spun up around it.
— Meccanica 🧢 🔋⚡⚛️ (@dictionaryhill) October 31, 2022
The only thing that has changed is that the people who said they were going to leave ended up staying 😂
— Mark (@CodingMark) October 31, 2022
I don't think we have been looking at the same Twitter.
— Deb Geene 🇺🇲🏖🌊🐾👩🌾👩⚕️♐ (@debanam) October 31, 2022
It looks the same to us. There are a lot of toxic people who were always here, and a lot of good people who ignore them.
Thought you might be on here announcing your departure?
